We all know that first aid is important but it's also really easy to allow ourselves to think that there will be 'someone else' who will know what to do, should an emergency situation arise.

First aid can reduce the severity of Injuries and potentially save lives

First aid knowledge empowers individuals to take swift and effective action in an emergency situation. Immediate response can prevent a minor injury from becoming severe and can even mean the difference between life and death. For example, knowing how to control bleeding, administer CPR, or place someone in the recovery position can significantly improve their chances of survival and recovery before emergency services arrive. 

Spotting Potential Signs of Illness

First aid training can not only prepare you for emergencies but also help you to be able to spot potential signs of illness.
