Defibrillator Competent User
Course Description
This Defibrillator Competent User Training course goes beyond the basics set by the UK Resuscitation Council, allowing plenty of time for everyone to get hands-on and fully confident with using an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). Did you know that 90% of cardiac arrest cases are VF arrests? The only treatment for VF arrest is a controlled electrical shock to the heart, known as defibrillation. Using a defibrillator within 3 minutes of cardiac arrest can really boost the survival rate. Defibrillators save lives, and this course is here to give you the skills and confidence to use them.
