Course Description

This half-day First Aid at Work Annual Update course is perfect for those with a current First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work certificate. It's a great way to brush up on any skills and it is strongly recommended by the H.S.E. that all first aiders complete an annual update. Just a heads-up, this course doesn’t replace the requalification course you need every three years.

  • Course Content

    By the end of this First Aid at Work refresher training, delegates will have updated their knowledge on:

    • Principles of emergency first aid
    • Basic life support (CPR)
    • Recognition and control of bleeding
    • Choking and unconsciousness
    • Treatment of burns and scalds

    We can also tweak the course content to fit your specific workplace needs, such as for high-risk environments, or any other special requirements you might have.

  • Eligibility

    All delegates must be 16 years and over to complete a course.

  • Bolt Ons

    If your role demands some specialist training, boost your First Aid at Work Annual Update course with our handy bolt ons.

    Fire Warden Training - For anyone who has the responsibility of fire warden incorporated into their working role.

    Evac Chair Training - For anyone who has an Evac Chair installed in their setting.

    Epipen - For anyone in contact with someone who has been diagnosed as being at risk from anaphylaxis.

    Administration of Medication - For anyone in a childcare setting who might need to administer medication to a child or young person.
