This September marks a very special milestone for us – Help First Aid Training is celebrating its 16th birthday!
Founded in 2009, our journey began with Craig, our director, working alongside Graham, who is now our Lead Instructor. From those early days, we’ve grown into one of the North-East’s largest independent first aid training providers. Today, our team includes two dedicated office staff and seven highly experienced instructors.
We know that we wouldn’t be where we are without our incredible instructors and our loyal customers. Our trainers bring a wealth of real-life experience from careers in the NHS, Military, and Fire Service. This hands-on knowledge, combined with our practical, engaging teaching style, sets us apart and ensures our courses are both effective and enjoyable.
Over the past 16 years, we’ve had the privilege of working with a wide variety of organisations — from small businesses to multi-site global companies, nurseries to universities, charities to local councils, and everything in between. Our training has reached people in the care sector, gyms, museums, veterinary practices, and more.
From teaching Mini Medics in primary schools to delivering specialist courses such as forestry and acid burn first aid, we’ve travelled across County Durham, Darlington, North Yorkshire, Cleveland, and the wider North-East to make first aid training accessible and affordable.
We want to take this opportunity to thank our fantastic instructors for their dedication, our office team for keeping everything running smoothly, and most importantly, our customers for trusting us with their training needs.
Happy 16th Birthday to Help First Aid Training — and here’s to many more years of supporting people with life-saving skills!
